How long do I have to complete the traffic school course?
Your account will always remain active. You just need to complete the course before
the due date the court gave you. We are only approved for online courses in English.
What's the difference between a classroom course and an online course?
An online course offers all the educational benefits of a classroom course in a
convenient online format. You can set your own learning pace and take the course at
your leisure, and go over the material based on your personal learning preferences.
Will I receive a certificate of completion for my records?
You will receive a FREE DMV completion receipt to print once you finish the course and pass the final exam. If you would like an original certificate of completion mailed or emailed to you, you can choose to purchase it.
How do I make an appointment?
You just
sign-up and do the online course as you have time to do it. It doesn't require an appointment and it is open 365/24/7.
Will I receive a payment receipt for my records?
Yes, after the final test click through to the next page. It has all of the receipts and confirmations on it.
Do I need to purchase any of the extra services offered?
No. The course fee includes everything you need to mask your ticket including the
course, electronic submission to the court and DMV, and a free completion receipt. We
provide extra services to assist our students that you can choose to purchase.
What is included with the fee?
How often can I take a traffic school course to mask a violation?
In California, you can take traffic school to mask a ticket once every 18 months. This is measured from violation date to violation date.
How long does the course take?
Our course meets the requirements for an 8-hour traffic school course. The course is done online and there is no time limit. It is self-paced, you can take as much time as needed to complete.
If I sign-up today, do I need to finish today?
When you sign-up we make you an account and you can login and logout.. it saves your spot as you go. You can sign-up today and start the course when it is a good time for you.
You must finish before your due date to the court.
Do I have to complete the entire course all at once?
No. You can log in and out as many times as you’d like. Your progress is saved automatically as you go. When you log back in, you will be taken to the section last completed.
How long do I have to complete the traffic school course?
Your account will always remain active. You just need to complete the course before the due date the court gave you. If you need more time, ask your court for an extention.
Are there quizzes throughout the course?
Yes. There is a short quiz after each section of reading that you will need to pass with 75%. You can retake the quizzes as many times as it takes to pass. Each quiz has 4 questions.
Is the final exam open book?
Yes! We provide a full review of the course for you to use while answering the final exam questions.
How do I access the study guide during the final exam?
There is a link on the final exam that allows you to open the study guide in a separate window. You can have both the study guide and final exam open at the same time making it easy for you to pass!
How many questions are on the final exam?
As required by the DMV, there are 25 multiple choice questions on the final exam. You must answer 18 of them to pass with 70%. We only report that you passed, not your score.
What grade is required to pass the final exam?
You need to score a 70% or better to pass the final exam. That means you need to answer at least 18 of the 25 questions correct.
How many times can I take the final exam?
As required by the DMV, you will have only two chances to pass the final exam with a score of 70% or better. The final exam consists of 25 multiple choice questions, and it is an open book test. We provide a study guide for you to use while answering the questions.
If you fail the final exam on the first try, you will have another chance to take a second final exam consisting of different questions. After two failed attempts, your account will be made inactive. You can sign up and take the entire course again if your court continuance time allows.
The final exam procedures have been established and are required by the California DMV.
What happens if I fail the final exam?
We make our course and final exam as EASY AS POSSIBLE! It is unlikely that you will fail the final exam as long as you use the materials provided. If, somehow, you do fail the final, you will be given one more attempt to pass. The second final exam consists of different questions.
If you fail twice, you will need to take the course again if your court continuance time allows.
How do you send my certificate of completion?
Your certificate of completion is submitted electronically to the court within three days of your completion. The courthouse once they checked that you paid your fees and fines they send your certificate to the DMV to mask
your ticket from your record. The system we submit your ticket into for the court to see is created and provided by the DMV. The DMV will not see your certificate until the court approves. For the court the approve your
traffic ticket you must 1) choose the right courthouse from the sign-up 2) Put in your case number correctly on the student registration page and 3) must complete the course before your due date and 4) must pass the open-book final exam
with 18 out of 25 questions correct by at least the 2nd attempt.
How long does it take to submit my certificate of completion to the court and DMV?
Your certificate is submitted within three business days of completion. We offer immediate electronic filing if your court date is three days or less in the future.
I've already paid for traffic school at the court. Why do I need to pay again?
The fee you paid to the court is an administrative fee that allows you take traffic school. All traffic schools have their own service fee, which are separate from any fees charged by the court.
My traffic school certificate is due at the court today. Can I still take the course?
Yes! As long as you finish BEFORE midnight on the date your traffic school is due, you will be in compliance with the court’s due date. Immediate electronic filing is available to ensure it gets to the court on time.
What do I do if my traffic school due date has already passed?
If your due date to complete traffic school has already passed, we recommend contacting your court as soon as possible to find out if you are eligible for an extension on your due date. Your court’s contact information can be found on your citation or you can go to http://www.courts.ca.gov/find-my-court.htm
What is your operation and conduct policy?
No credit or completion will be given if the course is completed by anyone other than you or if you are assisted by an outside party. When you enroll in the course you are stating under penalty of perjury that you, and not another person, studied the material in its entirety and completed that chapter quizzes and the final exam. By registering for the course, you understand that it may be a felony to make false statements or to falsify documents submitted by the court.
How do I know which court issued my ticket?
The county in which you received your ticket and the court to which you’re assigned can be found on the original ticket you received or on the courtesy notice the court sent you. If you don't remember your courthouse it is the nearest
courthouse to where you received your ticket at.
Where can I find my case, docket, or citation number?
You can find your case, docket, or citation number on the original citation you received or on the courtesy notice the court sent you. If you no longer have it visit your court website and find the link to lookup your traffic ticket.
If you cannot find the link then you must call the courthouse and get your case number. We cannot submit your traffic school without the case number.
Why am I being asked identity verification questions?
The California DMV requires all online traffic schools to verify your identity throughout the course. At the beginning of the course, you will be asked a series of questions.
Remember the answers to these questions as you will be asked again periodically throughout the course to be sure you are the one taking the course and not someone else. These questions are not tied to anything for example
a verification question might be what is your favorite color of apple red-yellow-green. Whatever you pick is not given out to anyone. We also don't know if you truely like a green apple more then a red one. You might be a lover of
red apples but choose green. We have no idea but you will need to remember.
How long does it take to complete the final exam?
As required by the DMV, you will have 60 minutes to complete the 25-question multiple choice exam. If you do not complete in 60 minutes, you will fail the final exam. You will have only one more chance to pass with a 70% or better.
The court said they have not received my certificate. What should I do?
Please allow 2-3 weeks after completing the course for the court to process your certificate and close your case.
If it has been more than three weeks, please make sure you have paid all necessary fees to the court including your fine and
traffic school fees. Check your court documents to be sure all the information you provided us is correct. If any information
is incorrect, please contact our office to make any necessary corrections. If all else fails you can print the completion receipt and
take it to the court clerk, only after making sure everything else is correct (for example that you selected the right court).
What is your refund policy?
There is no fee to start the course. At the end of the course lessons, before the final exam you are prompted to pay.
If you fail the 2 final exams we offer an unconditional refund.
